How we met....

It was Friday night May 1, 2009. Dallin was talking to a friend at rehearsal when he was asked, "Dallin, how are you ever going to find Mr. Right if you don't chat online or go to clubs?" His reply was, "Hopefully he will just fall in my path." Later that night while Dallin was lying in bed he questioned why he didn't have an online account. So he grabbed his laptop, created a simple profile, and went back to bed.

Saturday morning, just four blocks away; Jer woke up, grabbed his MacBook, and got online to check his emails. While online, Jer noticed Dallin's photo and profile. He decided to send a quick note and said, "Cute picture." Dallin responded and they began messaging each other back and forth. After chatting for awhile Dallin told Jer he had to take off to rehearsal but wanted to continue talking when he got back.

While Dallin was off to rehearsal, Jer looked at Dallin's picture again and started to wonder where he had seen him before. When suddenly, he realized that Dallin might have been the cute guy he was checking out at a Proposition 8 rally at the Utah State capitol in February '09. So Jer sent a message to Dallin and asked if he had gone to the rally and if he was wearing a blue striped sweater. Dallin got the message at rehearsal and was shocked that Jer would remember him from the rally because they hadn't even met.

When Dallin got home from rehearsal, he and Jer began talking for several more hours. Jer wanted to meet but Dallin was hesitant to meet anyone from the internet. The more Dallin talked with Jer he decided to take a chance and meet him. They decided to meet for dinner that night. After dinner, a four hour walk downtown, and two movies they felt a definite connection. They started seeing each other every day and have been together ever since.
